Is it just me here, or does it seem absolutely impossible for Joe Stevenson to win this fight with BJ Penn on Saturday night? I’m finding it difficult to imagine a scenario in which Joe Daddy has the advantage.
If it turns into a stand up battle (no possible way), Penn has knockout power while Stevenson has pimp-slap power. And we all know what’s gonna happen if Penn gets him on the ground. BJ is an elite, world-class jujitsu man; anything Stevenson does there is gonna be futile.
The only possible win for Stevenson is gonna be via decision. If he can tire BJ out, which could be easy to do given proclivity towards under-training, then it’s possible. Other than that, I see no way out for Stevenson.
